Chapter 1: Origin Story

The journey begins…

Finding the inspiration for this capsule led us in a couple different directions. First, creativity’s beginning: cave art. Stripping down Fred to a hand drawn, simplistic version of himself felt like the right way to bring him into the world. Second, we wanted to build out the world around him, which led us to his home: the moon. We set out to paint his world as simple and as straightforward as possible while still allowing the clothes to make an impact on both the wearer and the observer. We wanted each piece to inspire confidence in whatever adventure you found yourself in. 

Color was also crucial to help us showcase our aesthetic for this capsule. The southwest inspired tones weave the story of NVSBLE FREND’s vibe and lay the foundation for where we want to go in the future. We mixed faded light colors with worn out darks for that lived in summer feel. Whether you’re running around your backyard or kicking it on the concrete, you'll always be in the right shade.

We’ll stay obsessing over fit, feel, and aesthetic for every capsule we build. Our goal will always be to bring you the best clothes we can with no bullshit. Because your craft doesn’t need the extra baggage. 

We’re only at the beginning of this trip, but we can’t wait for the ride.
